My name is Paul Durham and I’m a children’s author from
Exeter, New Hampshire. I had been trying to publish my
adult fiction for almost twenty years when I finally sat down
to write a short story for my two young daughters. That little
story turned into The Luck Uglies, the first book in my middle
grade fantasy-adventure trilogy published by HarperCollins.
It can now be found in bookstores in the Unites States, the
United Kingdom, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and India,
among other far-flung places. Needless to say, it’s all been a
bit of a dream come true.
Next to actually writing my novels, what I enjoy most about
being an author is getting out to schools to talk with young
readers and aspiring writers. I’d be thrilled to come see your
students. Since I can’t possibly visit all the places I would like
to in-person, I am also offering free, 20 minute online Skype
Q&A sessions for classrooms, book clubs, library groups, and
homeschooler groups who read my books.
