CONCEPT
THE IDEA FOR THE EXHIBITION SPACE COMES FROM THE
WE HAVE TRIED TO REPRESENT SUCH A CONCEPT BY
RELATION BETWEEN CREATIVITY AND HIGH
USING 3D AND REAL IMAGES TO HIGHLIGHT THE
TECHNOLOGY THAT IS A DISTINGUISHED FEATURE OF
CREATIVE STRENGTH OF OUR COMPANY.
IGUZZINI'S WORK.
FLOOR
A LARGE LUMINOUS FLOOR (WALK-OVER LED’S), WITH
TRANSPARENT TO INCREASE THE EFFECT), VISITORS
CONTINUOUS IMAGE CHANGE, IS SITUATED IN THE
WILL FIND THEMSELVES ON A CONSTANTLY-CHANGING
CENTRE OF THE SPACE AND TELLS THE STORY OF THE

ARCHITECTURE FROM THE PAST, A RELATION THAT IS
CASTLE OF SAINT GEORGE IN MANTUA.

THE “CAMERA DEGLI SPOSI” (OR “CAMERA PICTA”
OR PICTA ROOM), FAMOUS FOR THE CYCLE OF
FRESCO PAINTINGS BY ANDREA MANTEGNA
(CREATED FROM 1465 TO 1474) IS IN MANTUA, IN
THE NORTH-EAST TOWER OF THE CASTLE OF SAN
ALONG EACH SIDE AND FEATURES A VAULTED
CEILING THAT OPENS UP TO THE SKY THROUGH
THE OCULUS.
THE ILLUSIONISTIC OPENING OF THE CEILING,
CREATED WITH AN EXCEPTIONAL USE OF
GIORGIO.
THE ROOM MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 8 M
PERSPECTIVE, TAKES THE ILLUSIONISTIC
EXPERIMENTS OF THE OVETARI CHAPEL OF
PADUA TO EXTREME CONSEQUENCES. IT IS A
ROUND OPENING TOWARDS THE SKY, WHICH WAS
TO RECALL THE FAMOUS OCULUS OF THE
PANTHEON, THE ANCIENT MONUMENT PAR
EXCELLENCE CELEBRATED BY HUMANISTS.

IN THE OCULUS, FORESHORTENED ACCORDING
TO THE PERSPECTIVE OF “PERSPECTIVE FROM
GROUND UP”, A BALUSTRADE IS SEEN FROM

A COLOURED SERVANT CAN BE SEEN TO EXTEND

FRAME, WITH DIZZYING GLIMPSES OF THE
BALUSTRADE, OR ONLY A HAND PUSHING
THROUGH CAN BE SEEN.

IF THE POTENTIAL IDENTIFICATION OF THE LITTLE
GIRLS AS REAL CHARACTERS GRAVITATING
AROUND THE COURT OF GONZAGA IS UNCLEAR (A
FEMALE FACE IS MADE TO RESEMBLE THE
MARQUIS BARBARA), THEY ARE CAUGHT IN
WOULD APPEAR TO SUGGEST THEY MAY BE
PREPARING A LITTLE TRICK, AN EPISODE TAKEN
FROM EVERYDAY LIFE ALONG THE LINES OF THE
LESSON OF DONATELLO.
THE HEAVY BOWL OF CITRUS FRUIT IN FACT

GARLAND, IN TURN ENCLOSED IN A SQUARE OF
FAKE RIBS, PAINTED WITH A WOVEN MOTIF THAT
RECALLS THE ANCIENT-STYLE BAS RELIEF PALMS.
THE WORK HAS BEEN REPRODUCED IN A
FAITHFUL FOLLOWING OF THE ORIGINAL DESIGN
AND TECHNIQUE AND THE CHOICE TO TAKE ITS
SIZE TO 12 M PER SIDE WAS GUIDED BY THE IDEA
OF MAKING THE MOST OF EVEN THE TINIEST
PICTORIAL DETAILS.
RECEPTION
ALIGNED WITH THE PLASMA WALL, IN FRONT OF THE
