(Which error or omission can be shown by objective evidence drawn from certain listed documents); and e). it is possible to put the County in "status quo ante". Once, per a six month period the vendor or the County may request a price adjustment. All prices to be firm for one year from date of resolution by the County of Otsego. All material supplied under this proposal shall be new A36/A992 or A/500 steel as noted. The New Steel must conform to current NYSDOT Standard Specifications for Structural Steel. This is to include shipping requirements. Material not shipped in accordance with the specifications will be rejected. Bidders shall pay particular attention to Section 206 of the NYSDOT Steel Construction Manual (SCM). Structural Steel shall be shipped and stored with their welds vertical unless otherwise approved by the County. A certified copy of the manufacturer’s certification of test results of chemical analysis and physical (mechanical) tests required by the DOT specifications shall be furnished for all steel. All steel shall be delivered on a flatbed truck with ample tonnage to ensure that it can be unloaded with a forklift. All steel, except large structural beams, shall be available for delivery within one (1) week of ordering. Shapes includes plate steel cut to required widths as well as all other steel shapes listed in the AISC Manual of Steel Construction allowable Stress Design, ninth edition, unless otherwise included in this bid.
