the public in 1987, Music Together pioneered the concept of a research-based,
developmentally appropriate music curriculum that strongly emphasizes adult
participation. All children can achieve basic music competence provided
their early environment supports such learning and emphasizes actual music
experiences rather than concepts. We are a community of families sharing
songs, instrument play, rhythm chants and movement activities in a relaxed,
playful, non-performance-oriented setting.
