Duties and responsibilities:

boys. The youngest was only 1 year old and other siblings were 4, 8, and 9 years of age. My
priorities were the 2 younger children, the 1 year old and 4 years old boys. Some of my duties
include feeding, bathing, changing diaper and giving their vitamins and medicines on time and as
prescribed by their doctors.
First thing in the morning, while the younger children are still asleep, I prepare food and things
needed for school for the 2 grown-up kids who were studying. I also accompany them going to
school and picking them up after their school and I am the one carrying their school stuffs.
I am also responsible in some household chores like cooking for the whole family, washing and
cleaning.
LETTER FOR MY FUTURE EMPLOYER
Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings in the most precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
I am Violita A. Tapdasan, 32 years old, Filipino, married with one 8 years old son whom I took
care of since birth up to when my child reached his 3rd birthday. I finished a degree in Bachelor
of Science in Elementary Eductaion at Pamantasang Lungsod ng Pasay. After my graduation, I
also took Post Graduate Masters on Art Management and was able to teach Kinder Garden for
3 years in Burgos Elementary School at Pasay City, Manila.
At present, I am currently working in Taiwan as care provider for a 54 years old bedridden
female patient suffering from benign neoplasm of brain, unspecified neurotic disorder,
constipation, malignant neoplasm of cerebrum, lobes and ventricles, urinary tract infection and
Acute Pharynx. I have been looking after her for a year now and I am always hoping and
praying for her fast recovery. I assist her with daily assistance such as taking her vital signs,
administer medication, changing her position from time to time, giving her massage and giving
bed bath and changing clothes for her to feel more comfortable. During a year of March 10,
2006- April 11, 2007, I worked as nanny provider for 4 children in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia. The children were 1, 4, 8, and 9 years of age when I started looking after them. I was
completely responsible toward the children daily needs. First thing in the morning while the
younger children were still in bed, I start preparing food and things needed for school by the 2
grown-up kids.
Aside from my education, experiences being a mom of 1 son and the knowledge I had on how
to handle children’s behavior in different ages while teaching Kinder Garden for 3 years. I also
took 6 months caregiver course during the year of April 2004- January 2005 which provided
me more knowledge and experiences to be more effective and sufficient caregiver for you and
your loved ones.
I am a hard working, honest, caring, patient, and obedient. I am God fearing person. I could
work long hours if my employer will tell me to do so and will obey and follow the task I am
given according to their instruction.
I would like to work in Canada and serve Canadian people. I have heard many good things
about Canada and Canadian employer who treat workers well and fair. Lastly, I want to see
and explore the beauty of your country.
I will pray that God will give me an employer who is kind and understanding.
For my future employer, thank you for choosing me to work in your family. I promise that I
will love and take care of my wards the way I took care of my own family. I will follow all
your instructions and would be glad to work with you.
God bless you and your family….
Respectfully yours,
Virginia A. Tapdasan
