KIDS AND STRESS HEATHER GAUTREAU THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3RD 2015 – 6-9PM, CAMROSE ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY LIVING “Stress seems to be a common denominator in today's busy world. Though we often take for granted that adults feel stress, we may be less aware that children are experiencing stress, as well. This workshop explores some common sources, detriments, and benefits of stress. Understanding stress from a child's perspective not only allows us to help them manage it more effectively, but also provides an opportunity to deepen our relationships.” Heather Gautreau Don’t Miss This Opportunity! Learn how to help kids through stress, understand what they are going through and support them to manage stress effectively. I facilitate workshops on child development, behavioral strategies, diagnoses such as FASD and ADHD, healthy family living, grief and loss, cultural awareness, conflict management, blended families and adoption, etc. The workshop on kids' stress arises out of the understanding that it is not only adults who struggle with feeling stressed in today's busy world and that if we understand the sources of kids' stress, we can help them to manage it effectively and we can also build stronger relationships as a result.
