Kids would only be unhealthy and socially awkward if they never went outside and their parents could stop them from going on the internet if they thought this was happening to their kid. Back WITH The average 8-18 year olds in America spends between 1 hour and 7 hours a day online. The internet is affecting kids studies because they are getting distracted by games/ or social websites. The internet can promote obesity because they do not get enough exercise. It can damage your brain. Next WITH The number of children with cell phones from 2004 is 39% and is now 66%. 47% of kids have low grades because of heavy online use. It can affect your social life.
