The Dining Room
This stately, high-ceilinged room lends itself beautifully to a winter wedding.
At its heart is a huge log fire and its beautiful chimney piece, decorated with
a romantic and charming scene of Venus and Cupid. The richness of paintings
and antique leather, lightened by the three vast windows looking out over the
lawns to the lake and White Horse beyond, makes this a warm and vibrant

The Small Drawing Room
The smaller of the two drawing rooms, this beautiful room with its delicate
plaster ceiling and wealth of portraits, provides a charming and intimate setting
for a smaller wedding. It also makes a quiet retreat as well as a beautiful
location for group photographs.

The Priory benefits from nearly 40 acres of beautiful
landscaped gardens and grounds. Surrounding the
house, the formal lawns, stunning topiary and wonderful
borders, create a breathtaking location for your special
day. This is balanced by the sweeping informal lawns
and woodland walks which offer plentiful space and
a tranquil haven for your guests.
Dotted throughout the grounds are several hidden
romantic gardens, such as the magical Water Garden
and the Walled Garden with roses tumbling over
archways leading to the lily pond.
