Job Experience

Currently working as “Lecturer” at Institute of Communication Studies
(ICS) Punjab University Lahore since 2008.

Worked at Citizens’ Commission for Human Development as ‘Program
Manager’ from September 2007 - June 2008. My job responsibilities include
report writing, hold trainings and workshops, edit CCHD publications,
coordination with media, issuing press releases and arranging media events of
CCHD.

Worked at Aaj Television Network Karachi as ‘Producer’ in Infotainment
Department from October 2006-July 2007. I have worked on talk shows Aaj
Islam and Business Mysteries as Associate Producer. I have also hosted a talk
show ‘Aaj Ki Baat’ and have interviewed many social & political figures in the
program.

Worked at Business Plus Network Lahore as ‘Junior Producer’ from May
2005-July 2006. I have produced two talk shows i.e. Enterprising Women and
Youth Forum. My job responsibilities include pre & post production work of both
talk shows. I have done 13-episodes of Enterprising Women successfully and 12
Episodes of Youth Forum with college students. Both talk shows were outdoor
shows.

Worked at GEO Television Network Lahore as ‘Assistant Producer’ from July
2002-February 2005. I have worked on two celebrity based talk shows i.e. Boltay
Sitaray, Jan Hai tou Jahan Hai and Shaadi Online. I had shoot packages with
social and political personalities. My job includes editing, research, 3-camera
switching and recoding of both talk shows on given schedule.

Worked at The Nation Lahore as ‘Sub-Editor’ in Magazine Department from
January 2001-March 2002. My responsibilities include article writing, editing of
articles, page making with designer, writing for Young Nation (kids magazine). I
was also the ‘Editor’ of Young Nation during my job.
