ANNOUNCEMENTS
On the 1st Sunday of each month, we have “NAME TAG SUNDAY,” where we are asking
everyone in attendance to wear a name tag. Ever see a familiar face during “Greet Your Neighbor”
time and just can’t remember their name? Help us to get to know you! Name tags are available at the
end of each pew. Please keep sharpies away from children and in containers during the service.
FRANKLIN GRAHAM will speak from the front steps of the capitol in Pierre on
Tuesday, May 24th from noon - 1 p.m. Please plan to attend.
PARENTS OF 2016 SENIORS please contact the office if you DID NOT receive a
Save the Date postcard about Senior Recognition Sunday and Luncheon on Sunday, May 1st.
Immediate Need: VBS Director for 2016! Vacation Bible School will be the
week of June 6th – 10th. Contact Jenn Oedekoven with any questions.
Good Friday Service will be held Friday, March 25th at 5:30 pm in the CBC Sanctuary.
CBC Women’s Book Club will meet March 29th at 6:30 pm for the book by Pastor Erwin W. Lutzer,
“One Minute After You Die.” Lutzer writes, "One minute after you die you will either be elated or
terrified. And it will be too late to reroute your travel plans." When you slip behind the parted curtain,
your life will not be over. Rather, it will be just beginning—in a place of unimaginable bliss or
indescribable gloom. This book opens a window on eternity with a simple and moving explanation of
what the Bible teaches about death. Sign-up to receive emails and updates about March Book Club.
Please join us on Saturday, March 12th, from 10am –1pm at our home (1609 Flag Mountain Drive)
to enjoy a bridal shower brunch for Bethany Brusven. This will be an open house, “Come when you
can and play some games” gathering.
The CBC phone directory has been updated. Check it out at the bottom right of the volunteer
schedules page (http://www.cbcpierre.org/cbcschedules.shtml) on our website. To keep addresses
and phone numbers secure there is a user name and password needed. Please call the office,
224-6730 or Virginia’s cell 280-0392 to get this information.
Victory Center Bible Camp would like to share with you a God sized opportunity. We need at
least 4 girl all summer missionaries (must have finished junior year of high school), and so far we
don't have any. Please pray with us for the Lord to supply the girl cabin leaders of His choice to serve
with us this summer. ** April 1st is the final deadline to be a summer missionary at camp. Thank you
for being in prayer for us to the Lord. Ken and Karen Toews
All 7-12 grade students are invited to attend MEGATEEN at Sunshine Bible Academy April 1-3.

and True. Brochures are on the back table with more information, costs, times, and a schedule.

You Bless Us! Dale Bartscher

WHAT WE BELIEVE
~ That Jesus is the Son of God who became a man to die for the sins of the whole world; He was raised
from the dead and ascended back to heaven; He is coming again. (1 Corinthians 15: 1-8) ~ That the Bible
is the inspired word of God, and is the only authority for our faith (what we believe) and practice (how we
are to live). (2 Timothy 3:16) ~ That every person has worth as a creation of God, but that all have sinned
and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) ~ That forgiveness of sins, the promise of eternal life
and an abundant life are available to those who believe that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)
~ That those accepting Christ shall repent of sin, confess faith, and be baptized into Him. (Romans 10:9;
Acts 2:38) ~ That the Church exists to provide for the spiritual growth of the people and to see that the
Gospel is preached to everyone. (Ephesians 4:1-16) ~ That Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and
reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
