BRYCE JORDAN CENTER EVENTS
Penn State has a great history of hosting amazing concerts and
events in the Bryce Jordan Center. Holding over 15,000 people, there
are endless opportunities at the BJC that all students should take
advantage of!
Tickets are available on ticketmaster.com, over the phone at 800-7453000, or in person at the BJC Box Office. All students are able to use
their PSU ID to purchase tickets at a discounted rate in person or
online at bitly.com/BJCStudentTix.
In October there are going to be a few amazing performances. On
October 9th, Zedd’s True Colors Tour will be performing with special
guests Dillon Francis and Alex Metric. This tour will truly not disappoint
and tickets are still on sale!
Paul McCartney, coming to central PA for the first time ever, will be at
the BJC on October 15th. His “Out There” tour will surely be amazing.
Paul McCartney is a legend, and after seeing Paul perform at Firefly
Music Festival in Dover, DE this past summer, I knew I would pay any
amount to experience it for a second time. Not one of the 90,000
people who attended the festival skipped McCartney’s performance
and it was the most amazing two and a half hours of the weekend.
Magic happened on that field when people joined together in
singing classics such as “Hey Jude” and “Let it Be,” and the concert
at the BJC will be no different.
Also in October, on the 25th, Mike Tyson will be taking over the arena
with his “Undisputed Truth Tour.”
All of these events are ones you shouldn’t miss, and keep an eye out
for other concerts that will be announced throughout the year. Take
advantage of the convenience and student discount during your
college career!

CATA
This is probably the most important app all PSU students should have. You can save
plenty of time by riding the bus vs. walking across campus to get to where you need
to be. This app allows you to track where the CATA buses are on their respective
routes so you never have to stand around wondering when the bus is going to
arrive!
EasyBib
Do you hate having to make works cited pages? This app takes the hassle out of
doing it. Simply scan the bar code of the book you are using and EasyBib will create
your citation instantly.
Penn State Strength and Fitness
Do you hate waiting in line at the gym? Or having to wait for the equipment to open
up once you get in? This app tracks the attendance at every on campus gym,
allowing you to choose the best option for your schedule.
Pocket Points
This app rewards you for staying off your phone during class. Just set the time you
are in class and lock your phone. When class is over, you can unlock your phone
and see how many points you gained. Collect enough points and earn some great
rewards like dinner at Rotelli’s.
Grades 3
Not sure what grade you need on your final to finish with an A? Just type in the
percentages of each assignment and let this app do the work for you. Now you can
spend more time studying and less time calculating the grade you need!
Find My iPhone
Do not go through the nightmare of losing your phone. This app allows you to be
able to access the iPhone’s location through any Apple device. Give yourself some
peace of mind and probably save yourself from replacement phone costs too!
Order Up Mobile
At this point of the year, you are probably sick of dining hall food. Order Up allows
you to order food from a variety of nearby restaurant like Wings Over, Are U Hungry
Dominos, and even McDonalds!

Track every PSU sports teams with live scoring updates, news, player rosters, and
facilities information!
