Pennsylvania State University Tenure-­Track Faculty Positions The Harold and Inge Marcus Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for two full-­time, tenure-­track positions at the Assistant Professor level. Exceptional candidates will also be considered for higher ranks. We seek outstanding individuals working in traditional and/or emerging areas of Industrial Engineering. The department is especially interested in the areas of advanced manufacturing processes, manufacturing systems, simulation and stochastic processes. Candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, establish and lead an innovative research program, supervise graduate students, pursue external funding opportunities, and provide service to the University. The first industrial engineering department founded in the world, our department is consistently highly ranked by US News & World Report for both its graduate and undergraduate programs. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a closely related field and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
