Students will receive instruction in a variety of software intended for personal use. Software used will include word processing, spreadsheets, databases, charting and graphing tools, and common internet clients and resources. There will be an extensive laboratory component. Evaluation Criteria Test #1 (Midterm exam) – 45% of final grade - The Midterm exam will cover Windows 7, Internet and Microsoft Word Test #2 (Final exam) – 55% of final grade - The Final exam will cover Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint Students will receive their exam booklets back following the Midterm examination. Students will not receive their exam booklets back from the Final exam. Test / Exam Requirements Photo ID is not required for tests Use of calculators / electronic translators or any electronic device is not permitted Students must write the test on the date noted above. In case of emergency students must produce proper documentations such as a Doctor’s note for an alternative examination date.
