JOB TITLE: Business Development Intern

REPORTS TO: Director of Business Development
LOCATION: Little Rock, AR
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Development Intern supports the organization across a range of projects
related to strategy, new business development, financial performance and operations. The
BDI will gain exposure to all financial areas of the organization which includes new business
development, sales & customer service, manufacturing, logistics, and quality control –
through a multi-week rotational program tailored to the interest of the BDI and the needs of
the company.
JOB FUNCTIONS:




Advanced Analytics – gathers data and utilizes complex analytical methods and tools to
help leaders make informed decisions on key business issues.
Financial Analysis and Modeling - drives complex analytical projects across the
organization through independently developing and maintain sophisticated financial
modeling.
Leadership Analysis - supports new business development and organizational leaders
with specialized analysis and produces reports to be shared across leadership.
Special Projects – participates in a variety of special projects related to International
Growth, Manufacturing, Acquisitions, Sourcing, and New Business Development.
REQUIREMENTS:

Strong analytical skills and strong working knowledge of excel

Financial and integrated financial statement modeling experience (preferable)

Superior level of communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfortable interacting
with senior management

Highly organized self-starter with ability to multi-task and achieve results despite
ambiguity or limited information

Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel

Bachelor's degree: Major in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or other
technical degree preferred

Foreign language proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese a plus
