Academy Programs of Study Guide
February 3, 2014
Dear Turner Tech Students and Parents:
During the week of February 10, 2014, counselors and students will select courses for the 2014-2015 school-year. All students are asked to complete
a Subject Selection Worksheet before February 21, 2014. For accuracy in course selection, students are asked to check all report card grades, review
cohort graduation requirements, and follow the academy program of study outline.
Students may talk with a counselor (during the lunch period) to review course selections and/or make changes. Some course recommendations
require approval from both the teacher and counselor. Teacher recommendations are required for placement into AP and/or Dual Enrollment classes.
Any questions regarding vocational certifications and academy programs of study should be addressed to the assigned vocational instructor or
academy leader. Turner Tech is currently on a block schedule with alternating periods.
Special Note: The Curriculum Guide is posted on the school’s website at http://ttech.dade.k12.fl.us/. Please attend a Parent Chat for additional
information.
Respectfully,
