GRID Aids is Gay-related immune deficiency

after public health scientists noticed clusters of Kaposi’s sarcoma and Pneumocystis pneumonia
among gay males in San Francisco and New York City. During the early history of AIDS, an ad hoc
organization called Gay Men’s Health Crisis was founded to combat what appeared to be a
homosexual-only disease produced by sexual promiscuity, intravenous drug use, and/or usage of
poppers. Soon after, clusters of Kaposi’s sarcoma and Pneumocystis pneumonia were also reported
among Haitians recently entering the United States and men with hemophilia, among female sexual
partners of AIDS patients, and among blood transfusion recipients with no obvious risk factors.
Grid Aids was replaced with the term AIDS (for acquired immune deficiency syndrome) was
proposed in 1982 by researchers concerned with the accuracy of the disease’s name. In this new
name, scientists were supported by political figures who realized that the term “gay-related” did not
accurately describe the demographic that the disease affected. On April 23, 1984, the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services Secretary announced at a press conference that an
American scientist, Robert Gallo, had discovered the probable cause of AIDS: the retrovirus
subsequently named human immunodeficiency virus or HIV in 1986.
Homosexuals, drug users and sex workers and their clients are the ones at greatest risk for
GRID/AIDS – I believe the Lord was right when He told His creation that sex needs to be within
the confines of marriage as one man and one woman – why? So you do not get hurt. That’s
the main reason I speak out against homosexual sin because homosexual behavior is at a higher risk
of getting AIDS/GRID. Being involved with drugs and also prostitution and other sexual activity
outside of marriage leads to disease, as the research indicates. Aids still kill more adults than all
wars and conflicts combined, and are vastly bigger than current efforts to address it.
A joint WHO/UN Aids report showed that nearly three million people are now receiving antiretroviral drugs in the developing world, but this is less than a third of the estimated 9.7 million
people who need them. In all there were 33 million people living with HIV in 2007, 2.5 million
people became newly infected and 2.1 million died of Aids. Thus, refrain from drug abuse and
