Consider the clamping mechansim shown in the figure. By using the principles of
statics, the clamping force (or reaction force) at E is obtained as FE=7.2P for the given
dimensions. In the figure, P denotes the hand force applied by a worker. Design a
clamping mechanism to obtain a clamping force as FE  9P. Use the hand force P for an
avarage worker. Perform a static Finite Element Study to obtain the minimum Factor Of
Safety FOS=1.8.
