Woodwind Family-instruments are made of metal and wood they also have many keys many of them have a single (clarinet or saxophone) or double (oboe, bassoon, English horn) reed 4. Percussion Family-instruments are struck, shook, rattled, or rolled Two types Melodic Percussion-these instruments can play a melody(different pitches) Rhythmic Percussion-these instruments keep a beat 2.
