Assignment Marking Sheet should be attached after the cover page followed by the
Assignment checklist & declaration form.

Current University students are allowed to submit the assignment without attending
lectures since they register as self study students but they have to attend the
individual presentation sessions.

Soft copy of your assignment should be sent to above mentioned email address and
you will be receiving an automated reply of receipt of the assignment, If you have not
received the automated reply, please verify with course coordinator. Soft copy is only
a reference document that will not be considered as an assignment submission.

SLIM will issue an acknowledgement slip upon the physical submission of your
assignment and it must be retained by the student as proof of submitting the
assignment.

You are required to register for examination / assignment within the above given
period. Assignments will not be accepted if you have not registered for the exam /
assignment.

If you have not submitted the assignment your results for the respective subject will
appear as “Fail” in the final grading.

In case of absent at the examination, relevant student has to re-do the assignment in
order to pass the subject in the next examination.

If you are a student of an Accredited Study Center, you can submit the assignment to
the accredited study center and presentation date and time will be notified to the
accredited center once all assignments received to SLIM Home in parallel to the
SLIM web site.

Refer Student deliverables indicated below for specific details about assignment
submission and presentations.
Assignments with Presentations

Presentation date and time will be published in website after the assignment
submission by the student.

Presentation time will be 10 mins and additional 10 mins will be given for question
and answers.

Presentation should be saved in MS Office 2003 version in a Pen Drive.
( Only the relevant presentation should be saved in the pen drive)

Students should bring two copies of the presentations printed one slide per page.
Assignment Topic
“Apple”
Apple Computer Inc. is a multinational corporation that creates consumer electronics,
personal computers, computer software, and commercial servers, and is a digital distributor
of media content. Apple's core product lines are the iPhone smart phone, iPad tablet
computer, iPod portable media players, and Macintosh computer line.
In the recent years Apple has touched our lives to a greater degree than can be imagined by
making a new statement in the technological industry. Knocking the ever so famous
Walkman out of the market, Apple has progressively succeeded to innovate, all Apple
branded products. Starting from the iPod, iPod Nano, IPhone, Mac Book, IPad has changed
the world. Apple is changing our behavior: how we buy, how we communicate with each
other, even whether we speak with each other. The Brand has literally changed the way we
live our lives.
With the latest results of the top brands in the world that was released by Interbrand; Apple
has climbed up to No 1 position from No 8 position in just three years pushing down 2012
most valuable brand, Coca- Cola to No 3 position. Apple replaced Coca-Cola as first among
the 100 most valuable brands based on criteria that include financial performance. The most
significant factor that should be looked at here is the fact that being No 1 for 13 years CocaCola is pushed down to No 3.
The CEO of Apple, Mr Steve Jobs always introduced his novel products as the most
innovative product in that particular category of product at that point of time. Jobs believed
that technology could change the way we live and he was able to communicate that message
to the people who were listening to him.
One of Apple’s mottos “Soon there will be 2 kinds of people. Those who use computers and
those who use Apples.” What does this mean? How can we translate it? “Soon there will be 2
kinds of people. Those who believe in what we are trying to achieve by building one of the
best machines in the world and those who don’t believe in what we believe. Apple moto
“Think Differently” has become a very persuasive moto for the people to make innovations
within the company. With this simple and short sentence Apple has built the most valued
company in the world. Think Different, this is what a customer believes while he/she is
buying an Apple’s product.
