Motion Carried Unanimously Minutes R15-002 Moved and seconded, THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting held December 15, 2014 be adopted with revisions that motion R14-356 refer to recommendation #12 of the Housing Action Plan (HAP) and motion R14-357 refer to recommendation #11 of the HAP. Motion Carried Unanimously Regular Meeting Minutes of Council -2- January 5, 2015 Bylaws R15-003 Leisure Services Fees and Charges Amendment Bylaw Moved and seconded, THAT "Leisure Services Fees and Charges Amendment Bylaw No. 1862, 2015" be given three readings with the addition of the age categories to the fee schedule. Motion Carried Unanimously R15-004 2015 Revenue Anticipation Borrowing Bylaw No. 1859, 2014 Moved and seconded, THAT "2015 Revenue Anticipation Borrowing Bylaw No. 1859, 2014" be adopted. Motion Carried Unanimously R15-005 Riverbrook Estates Zoning Amendment Circulated to Council was a report from the Director of Community Planning, dated December 18, 2014, regarding Riverbrook Estates zoning amendment. Moved and seconded, THAT Council give third reading and adopt "Riverbrook Estates Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1854, 2014". Motion Carried Unanimously Reports/Communications R14-006 Riverbrook Estates, Development Permit Application Circulated to Council was a report from the Director of Community Planning, dated December 18, 2014, regarding a Development Permit application for Townhouse 1 of Riverbrook Estates. Moved and seconded, THAT Council grant a Development Permit for Townhouse 1 complex of Riverbrook Estates, 167 Konigus Street, conditional on: 1. adoption of bylaw No. 1854; 2. Completion of pedestrian connections to Kuldo Boulevard as outlined in Traffic Impact Study by Creative Transportation Solutions dated November 27, 2014; 3. reduced minimum distance between buildings from 9.0 metres to 4.5 metres; and 4. granting of a Building Permit for commencement of construction by December 2016. Motion Carried Unanimously Regular Meeting Minutes of Council R15-007 Kitimat Minor Hockey Grant Request -3- January 5, 2015 Circulated to Council was a report from the Director of Leisure Services, dated December 22, 2014, regarding a grant request from Kitimat Minor Hockey to assist in hosting the 2015 Pee Wee Tier 3 Provincial Hockey Tournament being held in Kitimat March 14 - 20, 2015. Moved and seconded, THAT Council approve a major event sponsorship grant of $6,250.00 for the 2015 Pee Wee Tier 3 Provincial Hockey Tournament being held in Kitimat March 14 - 20, 2015. Motion Carried Unanimously R15-008 Tax Write-off for Trailer J7 - Vista Village Circulated to Council was a report from the Treasurer, dated December 30, 2014, regarding writing off the outstanding property taxes for J7, 653 Columbia Ave. Moved and seconded, THAT this item be tabled until a written report is received from Mr. Lagace, to give staff a chance to comment, and to provide the landlord an opportunity to respond as well.
