Re-thinking Hatzimanolis v ANI Corporation Ltd (1992) 173 CLR 473 in the
shadow of a light fitting on the NSW south coast, the High Court by a 4:2
majority denied compensation under the Commonwealth Safety,
Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 to a woman injured in a motel on a
work trip.
Should having sex without the employer’s knowledge be treated differently to
showering, eating and sleeping? If so, why? A seminar to discuss PVYW v
