DAY 1 ~ IN TRANSIT/
TORONTO/NIAGARA FALLS
Depart for Toronto, Ontario.A
Upon arrival, transferA to the Queen’s
Landing Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Tonight, gather with your fellow
Kiwanians for a Welcome Reception.
Independent Exploration: The rest
of the evening is at leisure. You may
enjoy browsing the Heritage Downtown
Main Street for souvenirs, antiques or
First Nation artwork and collectibles. In
the evening, watch a sunset at the
gazebo in Queen’s Royal Park or stroll
along the waterfront trail.

DAY 2 ~ NIAGARA-ON-THELAKE
Excursion: Niagara Falls. Begin the
day by peering off of the soaring Skylon
Tower Observation Deck as you stand
an astonishing 775 feet above the falls.
Relish your vista of the resplendent
Niagara River and the three waterfalls
that compose Niagara Falls: Horseshoe
Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and American
Falls. You may spot the Toronto and
Buffalo skylines hugging the horizon!
Next, pause to take photos and
grasp the magnificence of the cascade’s
dynamic energy at a second lookout
point near Horseshoe Falls. Close your
eyes and feel the mist gently tickle your
cheeks.
Then join fellow travelers on a
“Journey Behind the Falls,” as you
descend 150 feet in an elevator to
wander through passages underneath
the falls. Listen to the mighty roar and
imagine the powerful forces
surrounding you.
Finally, hold on to your hat as you
embark on a one-hour Hornblower
cruise into the heart of the Niagara
Great Gorge for an exhilarating tête-àtête with the natural wonder. Your boat
will get as close to the falls as possible
to thoroughly immerse you in the

during this intimate rendezvous with
Horseshoe Falls, and connect with the
power and allure of Mother Nature.
Independent Exploration: The rest
of the evening is at leisure. You may
like to share a Sentineal Carriage by the

DAY 3 ~ NIAGARA-ON-THE-
QUEEN’S LANDING HOTEL

Independent Exploration: Enjoy a
day at leisure to explore Niagara-onthe-Lake on your own time. Indulge in
an English afternoon tea at the Prince
of Wales Hotel. Visit the Niagara
Historical Museum to discover unique
stories of historic Niagara-on-the-Lake,
or browse the Niagara Pumphouse
Arts Center, an art gallery and studio
located in a heritage building on the
banks of the Niagara River. Cap off the
evening by toasting over a pint or two at
the Olde Angel Inn, Ontario’s oldest
inn.
DAY 4 ~ IN TRANSIT
This morning, transfer to Toronto for
the opening of the 101st Annual Kiwanis
International Convention.

DAY 1 ~ IN TRANSIT/
MONTRÉAL
Depart Toronto this morning aboard
Canada’s Via Rail for a five-hour scenic
journey to Montréal.
Upon arrival, transfer to the
Intercontinental Montréal.
Tonight, join your fellow Kiwanians for
a Welcome Reception.
DAY 2 ~ MONTRÉAL
Excursion: Montréal. Discover the
highlights of this cosmopolitan city. See
the majestic, neo-Gothic Notre Dame
Basilica, and marvel at the towering
stained-glass windows. Admire Old
Montréal, and witness the Olympic
Complex, still ringing with cheers from
the ’76 Games. See McGill University,
the alma mater of 12 Nobel Laureates.
End your city excursion atop Mont
Royal, a 761-foot-hill that offers
sweeping views of the city.
Independent Exploration: The rest
of the day is at leisure.
DAY 3 ~ MONTRÉAL
Independent Exploration: Spend a
full day of leisure in Montréal. You may
enjoy a morning with Courbet, Renoir
and Rodin at the Museum of Fine Arts
or a visit to the Museum of Archaeology
and History to learn more about the
17th-century settlement. You can
certainly shop in Montréal’s vast
underground city, discover exquisite
flora in the Botanical Gardens or spend
an afternoon walking through Vieux
Montréal.
DAY 4 ~ QUÉBEC CITY
This morning, depart Montréal for a
drive along the lovely St. Lawrence
River to Québec City.
Upon arrival, check in to the Hilton
Québec.
Excursion: St. Lawrence River
Cruise. Embark on an exciting 90minute cruise along the St. Lawrence
River. The mighty St. Lawrence flows
for over 745 miles from Lake Ontario to
Québec City and is the primary outlet
of the Great Lakes. Witness historic
Québec City from the comfort of your
river boat as seagulls glide nearby.
Observe the towering Montmorency
Falls, boasting a crest that is 99 feet
higher than Niagara Falls. Sail near
the Île d'Orléans, an island that the
Algonquins called the “Bewitched
Place,” and notice the beauty of the
scenic Côte-de-Beaupré. Spot the
rolling peaks of the 540-million-year-old
Laurentian Mountains in the distance.
Along the way, experience the panoramic skyline of Québec City with vistas of
the Place-Royale and the copper-roofed
Chateau Frontenac.
DAY 5 ~ QUÉBEC CITY
Excursion: Québec City. Uncover
the cosmopolitan attributes of Québec
City on a sightseeing tour. Observe the
historic treasures inside the walls of
Old Québec, a UNESCO World Heritage
site. Contemplate the city’s tumultuous
past at the Citadel. See the celebrated
Latin Quarter, the historic Plains of
Abraham and the Place Royale where
Champlain founded Quebec in 1608.
Appreciate the significance of the
Fortifications, North America's only
remaining fortified city. See the
National Assembly, and admire the
neo-baroque style of the Basilica.
Independent Exploration: Spend
the remainder of the afternoon at
leisure. You may enjoy visiting
Parliament Hill or the Fontaine de
Tourny.
DAY 6 ~ QUÉBEC CITY
Independent Exploration: Enjoy a
full day to explore Québec City on your
own. Spend a day at the beautiful
Côte-de-Beaupré, where ancestral
houses and charming churches dot
the landscape. Stretch your legs at
Montmorency Falls Park, or explore the
historic Île d'Orléans.

Transfer to the airport for the return to
