These acts included;
crossing blind-folded,
on stilts, carrying his
manager piggy-back
style, wearing a
gorilla costume and
pushing a wheelbarrow, and many, many
others.
He developed a kind of
revelry with a man
named William Hunt. The
two of them both
crossed many times, and
each time doing
something more
spectacular than the
other.
Both continued to
tightrope. In 1897
Blondin died of
diabetes a few days
before his 73 rd
birthday.
As best as I can figure
out, the reason that so
many people jump from
Niagara is because it’s
an adventure like no
other, it would give you
a rush of adrenaline,
and it’s sort of a test
to see if you’re brave
enough to do it.
All in all, Niagara
Falls is a very
interesting, but
dangerous place,
and I enjoyed
learning about it.
