Analyzing Statistics
The goal of chapter 8 is to learn to statistical functions in Excel. You will learn to use conditional logic
math functions to calculate a sum, average, etc. given one or multiple criteria. You will also practice
statistical functions including Covariance and learn to use the Analysis Toolpak.
Once you read chapter 8 in your textbook you must complete the Hands-On Exercises throughout the
chapter:
First download the required e08h1Assessment.xlsx file from the ExcelHands-OnExerciseFiles folder on
the K drive and name it e08h1Assessment _LastFirst

Upload the completed .xlsx file to the appropriate folder on the H drive.
