In PE, we will be learning about healthy eating and fitness. We will test our fitness and record our baselines in our Notebooks. We do calisthenics in class each day for 15-25 minutes. Calisthenics consist of proper mechanics in Dynamic Stretches, pushups (starting on the wall, desk or knees), crunches and Ab work, cardio, and body weight strength exercises. Students are required to wear proper attire in order to participate. Each work out is graded by effort and attitude. Pease note, we will not go outside until the weather permits. During AR, the children will read independently for thirty minutes each day of the week. They are to read each day and write in an AR log.
