10 am—3 pm: Pick up at the Park Centre; Prize draw from 3 pm—3:30 pm
Put memories into pictures and win some prizes! Grab a list of items from the Park Centre and
see how many candid, selfie and artistic snap shots you can take throughout the park in one
day.

Did you know that you can read a tree’s whole life just by looking at the trunk? Join Information
Officer Erin to discover the secret life of trees!
TREE CRAFT
11 am—1:30 pm: Porch behind the Park Centre
Get creative with our campground hosts and create your personal tree cookie!
CAKE CUTTING
12 pm (while supplies last!): Day Use Area, across from the Park Centre
Enjoy a slice of Parks Day cake on us! (Note: cake contains wheat, eggs, and may have
come in contact with nuts)
SAND CASTLE BUILDING CONTEST
12:30 pm—3 pm (judging begins at 3pm): At the beach
READY, SET, DIG! Grab your buckets and shovels and build your finest sand
sculpture for great prizes!
PLANT DETECTIVES FAMILY PROGRAM
1 pm—2 pm: Meet beside the Day Use Area Shelter

and your detective skills, join Interpreter Morgan to identify a few plants found at the park.
POND BUG HUNT
3:30 pm—4:30 pm: Meet at the big white dock on Grebe Pond
What creepy crawlers lurk beneath the surface of Miquelon's ponds? Come find out with
Interpreter Isabella on this wet and wild adventure!
