Asbjorn ‘Aussie’ Kanck, Lecturer in Renewable Technology, coordinator of the new renewable suite will give a
preview of the latest training suite (officially opening in August).
Christine Haydon, Electronics Lecturer, TAFE SA, Regency Campus will introduce ‘RAA Kelly’ TAFESA entrance
in the World Solar Car Challenge (Adventure class) - Darwin to Adelaide in October 2007. Come and sit in a real
piece of technology - get a feel for the race of a life time and the preparation that is taking place to ‘upgrade’ this
old gal! Rare earth magnet wheel motor, maximum power point trackers, Tritium wave controller, CAN bus and
serial communications, Zigbee and 900MHz Frequency Hopper, LiPol battery pack.
