——China International Kitchen and Bathroom Expo (CIKB) 2014
concluded successfully in Shanghai
China International Kitchen and Bathroom Expo (hereinafter referred to as “CIKB 2014”)
with the topic “Modern Kitchen, Built-in Dreams”, jointly organized by the China National
Hardware Association (CNHA) and Koelnmesse, was held from 5th to 7th November
2014 in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. By being parts of CIKB
2014, industry participants could experience the great convenience and comport of life
brought by scientific and technological innovation.

I. Gathering of brands with new products
The exhibition space of this grand event of kitchen and bathroom industry was nearly
30,000 sqm, attracting over 150 exhibitors. In here, you could find domestic famous
brands such as Haier, Fotile, Robam, Goldenhome, Supor, Sacon, Vanward and so on. With
the strong support from LivingKitchen, international top-notch brands including Bosch,
Siemens, Naber, CARAT, and zeyko, etc. were also on the list of exhibitors. Sunlot, Jomoo,
and Joyou and other outstanding bathroom enterprises presented new high-tech
bathroom products with water saving function, and interpreted healthy and smart
bathroom concepts.
CIKB 2014 was undoubtedly a perfect platform for many famous exhibitors to show their
exquisite products to the public. BSH launched brilliant new products like the cookpot
and Steamer, while A.O.Smith also promoted its new electrical water heater. In addition,
brands including Supor and Robam also chose CIKB as the ideal platform to launch new
products. All has proved the unmatched impact of CIKB in the industry.
“Golden Hook Prize” the 1st China Integrated Kitchen Industrial Design Contest was also
one of the highlights of the event. Over 20 shortlisted entries of the “Golden Hook Prize”
were displayed together in CIKB 2014, showing the latest works and images of kitchen
designers in China to the entire kitchen industry.

In materials of items on display, latest technology, design aesthetics, or manufacture and
supply, CIKB represents for the top standard of kitchen and bathroom industry in China.

aspects since its initiation. Based on statistics, there were more than 10,048 visitors(incl.
trade visitors and end-consumers) to the 3-day event, including vast number of agents
and dealers, also the real estate developers and high-income people who had vast
demands on kitchen and bathroom products, let alone the interior designers and
decoration companies who play key roles in kitchen development trend. Comprehensive
and multi-level visitor organization attracts visitors who could meet the demands of
various exhibitors, so as to improve the on-site business negotiations and cooperation.
III. Comprehensively cooperate with the media to create an excellent promotion
platform
In order to improve our services to better serve more exhibitors and visitors and maximize
the exposure in the industry, CIKB 2014 has established close cooperation with more than
30 media in China, including some famous portal websites like Fang.com, jiaju.sina.cim.cn,
home.focus.cn, and jia360.cm; famous media in the industry, such as chugui365.com,
FineKitchen; fashion and design magazines like Home for You, Interior Design; and also

and china-chuwei.com. Cooperating with various media in every aspect could ensure
sufficient exposure of exhibitors during the opening of CIKB 2014, so as to enhance brand
image and popularity.
At the same time, CIKB 2014 and media also complemented each other with advantages
and shared resources. New Product Show “Imaging New Life” organized by home.focus.cn
not only summarized new products launched by difference kitchen and bathroom brands,
but also precisely predicted future development direction of the industry and products,
making it being in the spotlight. Besides, “Global Culture Trip – Interior Designer Salon”
jointly held by organizers and Fang.com also caught people’s eyes. From the aspects of
esthetics, traditional culture in China, construction materials and so on, notable design
masters interpreted the latest trends of interior design, and had in-depth communication
with many kitchen exhibitors from Germany, which was significant in a culture exchange
on kitchen between China and Germany.
IV. High-level forums and splendid on-site activities
2014 The 2nd China Kitchen Industrial Development Forum and the 2nd Sino-Germany
Modern Kitchen Industry Summit held in the afternoon of the first day was attended by
500 producers, dealers, associations and media. In the forum, high-level executives from
leading companies including A.O.Smith and BSH attended the forum and delivered
wonderful speeches. In addition, guests from industry chains related to kitchen and
bathroom such as Shanghai Real Estate Association and China Market Monitor Co., LTD,
etc. also participated in the interaction session discussing the industry development trend.
It’s worth to mention that thanks to the vigorous support of AMK, direct dialogues and
communications with enterproneurs from zeyko, BSH, Goldenhome, Boloni and other
kitchen industry companies were also the highlight of the event. AMK Chinese workshop
continuously took place during the show. This is the largest summit in China Kitchen
industry, which in another way presents the remarkable international influence and
industry leadership of CIKB.
Other activities of the exhibition were also very splendid. “2014 (the 1st) China Bathroom
Industry Chain Development Summit” gathered renowned professionals, discussing
prosperous future of bathroom industry; while China Kitchen Appliances Users Study
Salon held by China Market Monitor Co., LTD and Koelnmesse deeply analyzed and
explained pain points of users of kitchen and bathroom users in China from the aspects of
using habits and confusions, so as to help enterprises explore the value of users. Such
activities were very popular.
CIKB 2015 will open its doors once again from 21st – 23rd October, 2015 in National
Exhibition & Convention Center (Shanghai). Both the exhibition space and exhibitors then
will be increased versus CIKB 2014. CIKB will be the activity of the year with the greatest
impact on the development trend of kitchen and bathroom industry in China.
