Client Background
Our client is the premier global provider of commercial duty automatic transmissions and
hybrid propulsion systems. Their products are specified by over 250 of the world’s leading
vehicle manufacturers and are used in many market sectors including bus, refuse, fire,
construction, distribution, military and specialty applications and employs approximately
2,700 people. Regional headquarters with dedicated support staff are located in China, the
Netherlands, Brazil, India and Japan. With a global presence in 80 countries, and has over
1,500 distributor and dealer locations.

Key Business Objective
The core business objective was to implement a platform to manage and gain visibility into
procurement and sourcing of all direct and Indirect Materials.

Existing Process
Our client has been requisitioning using the SAP ERP system. The procurement was initiated
by an employee in the form of a paper and then the procurement department converts this
paper into a Purchase Requisition after approval process.

Gyansys was awarded the SRM Ramp-Up implementation project . Gyansys
provided “key” expertise across the SAP SRM solution. Our expertise was
leveraged across all phases of the project, including planning, design, implementation,
