The “Big Easy” may be known for its joy of music, libations
and world-class food, but many may overlook the superb
shopping scene in New Orleans with tax-free shopping for
international visitors.
Westfield Travel Collection, a name synonymous with style
worldwide, is launching an exciting new savings program
called the Traveler Privileges Card for domestic and
international travelers who visit select Westfield centers
located throughout the U.S. The program offers travelers
hundreds of dollars in savings at Westfield Shopping
Centers in key destinations, including San Francisco, Los
Angeles, San Diego, Clearwater, Florida, and Paramus,
New Jersey. In addition, the program will be valid at
several international airport shopping destinations at LAX,
O’Hare, Newark and JFK. There are three easy steps for
visitors to receive a Traveler Privileges Card, plus fabulous
rewards for shopping and dining.
1. Complimentary multilingual printed or electronic
Traveler Privileges Card vouchers are available to
travel trade and hotels upon request. Visitors can
also print a voucher from the website
www.WestfieldTravelCollection.com.
2. The visitor presents his or her voucher along with
an out-of-town driver’s license or passport at the
participating shopping center to receive a Traveler
Privileges Card. The card entitles visitors to 10 percent
savings and other special offers at a variety of shops
and restaurants at each center or airport. A list of offers
is provided at each location. Cards must be obtained at
a shopping center and will be valid for discounts at the
international airports.
3. Visitors receive a special gift with purchase after a day
of shopping at a Westfield Travel Collection center. For
same-day purchases totaling $500 USD, they will receive
a $25 gift card. For same-day purchases totaling $1,000
USD, they will receive a $50 gift card. They can spend
$2,500 to get $100 and $5,000 for $250. These gift cards
can be spent at any shop or restaurant at that shopping
center and have no expiration. This offer is not available at
the airport locations.
