Dear Reader,
Welcome to a new school year! This summer was busy with
our 6 weeks of Core Training, in which 200 teachers attended
our 18 classes!
We are interested in learning more about what your school is
doing within your PLTW programs, and sharing it with the rest of
the network. If there is anything within your school that you
would like us to highlight, please contact Deborah Cooper. All
stories are posted in the ‘News’ section of our website.
Additionally, if there is information you would like to see on our
website, please let us know!
Be Sure to Send Your Grades to RIT for College
Credit
If you have not already sent in grades to RIT for your students who qualified
for RIT credit from their 2014-2015 courses, please do so immediately.
Course credit registration deadline is November 2, 2015; students cannot be
registered without your grade submissions. Please use this grade report

A Visit with Vince
Bertram!
This summer, we were
honored to have Vince
Bertram spend the day with
us. Our staff, teachers and
Master Teachers who were
here for Core Training, had
the opportunity to converse
with Dr. Bertram, and ask
questions. We had a GREAT
day!

Student Rostering is Open for 2015-2016 School Year
Student rostering for the 2015-16 school year is now open! PLTW District Administrators, School Administrators, or
Principals need to roster all PLTW students to ensure students have access to myPLTW and any applicable End of
Course (EoC) assessments. Rostering also provides PLTW the ability to accurately report student-level demographic
and performance data to state departments of education and provide EoC data to colleges and universities in support of
preferential admissions and other student opportunities. The updated rostering template and detailed instructions are
available under the FAQs section of myPLTW. Please note slight delays may occur due to high volume during the
rostering period.
Once students are rostered, teachers need to enroll their students into the myPLTW Learning Management System
(LMS).
If you have questions, please contact the PLTW Solution Center at 877.335.7589 or schoolsupport@pltw.org.
