As of today, you have not completed the 2014-2015 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you plan to
complete the FAFSA, please do so as soon as possible so that your financial aid is ready when the fall term begins.

FAFSA DATA RECEIVED BY THE FINANCIAL AID
OFFICE.
Monitor your DMACC or FAFSA e-mail accounts for
correspondence from the Financial Aid Office at least
twice weekly at: http://owa.dmacc.edu
STEP 3:
STUDENT SUBMITS REQUESTED
INFORMATION TO FINANCIAL AID
OFFICE BASED ON UNSATISFIED
REQUIREMENTS.
REQUIREMENTS CAN BE FOUND BY LOGGING
INTO YOUR WEB INFO SYSTEM AT:

STEP 4
STUDENT AWAITS REVIEW OF FAFSA DATA AND
SUBMITTED VERIFICATION INFORMATION.
Please allow time for processing of your financial
aid once your forms are received.
STEP 5:
FINANCIAL AID OFFICE COMPLETES VERIFICATION
OF FAFSA DATA.
You will receive an email notification
directing you to the Web Info System to
view your Terms and Conditions and
Award Offer.
STEP 6:
STUDENTS LOG INTO THE WEB INFO SYSTEM
AT:

TO VIEW AND ACCEPT TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND
THEN ACCEPT OR DECLINE AWARD OFFER.
Read and Accept Terms and Conditions
Students must accept the Terms and Conditions first
before proceeding to the award screen
Read and Accept or Decline Award
If accepting Federal Loans, complete and submit
Direct Loan Master Promissory Note and Entrance
Counseling Session, if instructed to do so.
STEP 7:
STUDENT AWAITS ARRIVAL OF AWARD AND
DISBURSEMENT DATE FOR TERM
STUDENT RECEIVES AWARD NOTIFICATION EMAIL AND
FINANCIAL AID AWARD INFORMATION WHICH IS
DISPLAYED IN THE WEB INFO SYSTEM.
Any Aid accepted will be applied towards
tuition/fee charges
Students are sent e-mails if funds are available
to use at campus bookstores 10 days before the
start of the term
Remaining funds will be refunded after
attendance is verified
Monitor for messages and information from
the Financial Aid Office on your DMACC email

Financial aid funds in excess of tuition and fees
will be sent to the Higher One Account you set
up. To review the Higher Once Card procedures
