Blackburn Vikings Back to Business with MIBT For immediate release Blackburn Vikings would like to welcome Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology (MIBT) for another 12 months. MIBT joined the Vikings family for 2014 and will once again be a partner in 2015. MIBT is an alternative pathway into Deakin University undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. MIBT Diploma courses are equivalent to Deakin University's first year bachelor degree. Blackburn Vikings Treasurer, Craig Walker was quick to express his gratitude to MIBT. “MIBT presents not only a great partnership to us directly as a club, but also to our members looking at furthering their education. Given the close proximity to MIBT many of our members who are looking for tertiary education can take advantage of this fantastic opportunity.” About MIBT – Your Pathway to Deakin University Since 1996, Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology (MIBT) has worked with Deakin University to help over 15000 students prepare for entry into university. The MIBT pathway program provides a link between previous studies and university study through its foundation and diploma courses. The four-‐hour teaching and learning blocks also ensure that your tutorials are right after lecture so that any doubts or questions can be clarified immediately.
