Michael Hartley President and Owner of Standard Bent Glass Corp and Global Security Glazing Michael Hartley has over 40 years experience in finance, sales and manufacturing. Serving as an owner and executive for companies such as Hotwork-USA, RefrAmerica and Refractory Machining Service, he has been responsible for millions of dollars of product sales as well as the development of programs to ensure client satisfaction for custom manufactured products. During his career, Hartley has held various board positions for organizations such as National Bank of Kentucky, Federal Reserve Bank, Butler County Community College and Clayburn Refractories. In 1993, Hartley assumed the position of president and owner of the Butler, Pa. based Standard Bent Glass, a leading custom architectural bent/curved glass manufacturer. With experience in the production of bullet resistant glass and defense products, he acquired Global Security Glazing in 2000 and specializes in the production of a complete line of laminated security glass. D. Kent Hartley Chief Operating Officer and Owner of Standard Bent Glass Corp and Global Security Glazing With a unique combination of experience in custom glass manufacturing and high temperature ceramic production, Kent Hartley brings over 23 years experience to Standard Bent Glass and Global Security Glazing. While working closely with his father, Mike Hartley, Kent spearheaded company growth through new product development and business acquisitions. In 2007, Kent orchestrated the purchase of GE’s laminating facility in Allentown, Pa., adding capacity and new products to the organization. With a background in architectural design, Kent is a key contributor to the success of the architectural and security glass product development, and an active member of the Glass Association of North America. His current focus involves the research and development of new transparent armor systems for military and defense markets. Jeff Nichols Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Standard Bent Glass Corp and Global Security Glazing Jeff Nichols brings over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and project management for the architectural construction industry, including 22 years spent developing curved glass and custom laminated products at Standard Bent Glass. With years of industry expertise, Nichols directs and manages sales and marketing efforts for Standard Bent Glass and Global Security Glazing. His primary focus includes developing and maintaining OEM sales and the sale and promotion of custom architectural glass products to the building design community. Nichols is a 1977 graduate of Grove City College and is a frequent writer and lecturer on bent glass and decorative laminated products for the glass industry. Lance Cotton Vice President of Operations of Standard Bent Glass Corp and Global Security Glazing A 1989 graduate of Harvard University with a degree in Mechanical and Materials Science Engineering, Cotton has over 20 years experience in the manufacturing and fabrication of custom laminated glazing products. He directs the company’s manufacturing, facility management, engineering, research and development, quality control and capital equipment acquisition efforts. Gary Hubbard Controller of Standard Bent Glass Corp and Global Security Glazing As controller of Standard Bent Glass and Global Security Glazing, Hubbard oversees all finance, accounting and personnel activities. He has a master’s degree in business administration and has been an accountant for over 35 years. With a background in the fiscal management of both manufacturing companies and public utilities, he plays a key role in the financial management of Standard Bent Glass and Global Security Glazing. Rick Trundt Security Products Manager for Global Security Glazing A frequent speaker and recognized expert in the prison and detention glazing market, Trundt is responsible for correctional sales and has been with Global Security Glazing since 2002. A 1977 graduate of the University of South Carolina, Rick spent three years with Johnson & Johnson before joining the GE Electromaterials division as a sales engineer. In 1984 he transferred to the GE Plastics Structured Products department and began his career in the corrections glazing market. Trundt left GE to assume the position of prison program manager for Insulgard Corporation before joining Global Security Glazing. He has served on many professional committees and has played a key role in advancing code and safety requirements for prisons and detention facilities. Steve Oujiri Vice President of Military Sales for Standard Bent Glass Corp and Global Security Glazing Steve Oujiri joined Standard Bent Glass and Global Security Glazing in October of 2008 to market security products and transparent armor to the military sales market. Oujiri has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and began his career as a research chemist for Sierracin Corporation. During his 28 year career working for companies such as Morton International Inc., Rohm and Haas, Huntsman, Sierracin and PPG Industries, he has held various positions in research and development, manufacturing and sales.
