Our skaters have placed first in the Collegiate National competitions, and last season placed second for the senior ladies championship. Our teams competed at two events and performed very well against other schools in the area. Our goal is to provide both a club for recreational skaters and a team for competitive skaters. Another purpose of the organization shall be to promote the sport of figure skating and to provide opportunities for those who have skated in the past to continue to skate and compete. Along with experienced skaters, this organization will also allow the opportunity to people who have never skated to learn more about the sport.

Team Description: Figure skating at Sacred Heart University (SHU) is a club sport. The administration is very supportive of the program and encourages skaters to compete and to complete their individual U.S.
Figure Skating tests. One team practice a week is scheduled, and after that, skaters train on the rink's daily freestyle sessions by signing in at times that fit into their academic schedules. There is no limit to the number of sessions per week, but three hours is required. Skaters have at least one
30 minute private lesson per week and can request additional lessons, schedules permitting. SHU covers all ice time, competition entry fees and transportation expenses. The team funds very aggressively and uses the funds to cover additional lodging and equipment expenses. Skaters are required to pay dues to cover the gap in fundraising.

Team Description: The University of Delaware Collegiate Figure Skating
Team is a competitive club sport that is student-run and comprised of about 30-plus skaters. Our team is very competitive and consistently ranked as one of the top teams in the country! Skaters on the team must pay four sets of dues throughout the year and have their own skates and music. We accept skaters of all levels and skating disciplines and welcome all new skaters who are interested in joining! We have team practice once a week on Thursday mornings, and skaters are expected to practice on their own additionally. Though all skaters can join/become members of the team, skaters must try out for competition starts in order to compete during the season. Skaters at UD can train at the Fred Rust
Arena and Gold Arena (both are on campus), as well as seek out individual coaching, off-ice training, pilates training, gym workouts, etc. For more information about the UDCFST, please contact Julianne DiMura
(Team President) or Joel McKeever (Head Coach).

Team Description: The Maryland Figure Skating Club began at UMD in
2004 and became a club sport in 2007. We welcome skaters of all levels.
The club is comprised of two teams: a freestyle team and synchronized skating team. School funding for the club is split between the two teams and covers the majority of the costs associated with ice rental (at Wells
Ice Rink) and competition entry fees. The club has approximately 30 skaters each year. At UMD, we would like to emphasize that school comes first, followed by skating. We would like for the experience to be fun and the rink as a place to get your mind off academic stress. The experience is more important than the results.

Team Description: Our program is a club sport and student organization at WVU. We are in our beginning years and still trying to make our program better. Only a few of us skate consistently every week, others are beginners and skate every now and then. We do not have any ice time saved just for our club, but skate on freestyle ice held five days a week.
We want to start a synchro team, but currently, we do not have enough members.
