Monthly Web-based Share Groups What does Certification mean? Certification from the Association is the recognized, industry-wide standard that quantifies the skill level of individual category management professionals. Certificates from training firms, solution providers, and universities only meet requirements of the specific organization offering the courses and vary by company. The Association's certification is an objective, third party designation and ensures that a minimum agreed-upon standard at each level has been met or exceeded. Meetings feature presentations from Retailer or Supplier leaders in category management, followed by an open Q&A discussion. Attendees announce their company names so that competitors are aware of each other in the room, but participants are otherwise kept anonymous. Solution Partners adhere to a strict 'non-solicitation' policy. These targeted Share Groups meet once a month, usually 10 x per year, and in-person at the annual conference. • Insights & Analytics Share Group • Organizational Development Share Group • Shopper Marketing Share Group • Space Management Share Group • Latin America Chapter Meetings (en español) • Canadian Chapter Meetings (starting January 2013) • Manufacturers Only - Leaders Share Group • Retailers Only - Leaders Share Group • Retailers Certification Steering Committee • Global Strategy Share Group We invite you to join and encourage your participation - it's your Association.
