GREEK BEGINNERS
This language course is suitable for those people with no prior
knowledge of the language or those who have only learnt a few
words for a holiday
During the course you will study topics such as:
 Presenting yourself and your family/friends
 Getting around (places and directions)
 Accommodation
 Food and Drink
 Shopping
Each topic studied will help you to increase vocabulary and
expressions through reading exercises, role-plays, pair work,
pronunciation tasks, etc…
The course will also give you:
 A knowledge of the culture and some of the traditions in
Greece
 Confidence in dealing with basic situations when you are
abroad
ITALIAN BEGINNERS
This language course is suitable for those people with no prior
knowledge of the language or those who have only learnt a few words
for a holiday
During the course you will study topics such as:

ITALIAN IMPROVERS LEVEL 1
Italian Improvers Level 1 follows on from our Beginners courses at TRC
or elsewhere. They are also for those individuals who achieved a GCSE
level several years ago (grade C/B) but not practised the language for a
long time. They will reinforce what you have learnt and further extend
your vocabulary.
GERMAN BEGINNERS
This language course is suitable for those people with no prior
knowledge of the language or those who have only learnt a few
words for a holiday or a short business trip
During the course you will study topics such as:
 Presenting yourself and your family/friends
 Getting around (places and directions)
 Accommodation
 Food and Drink
 Shopping
Each topic studied will help you to increase vocabulary and
expressions through reading exercises, role-plays, pair work,
pronunciation tasks, etc…
The course will also give you:
 A knowledge of the culture and some of the traditions in
Germany
 Confidence in dealing with basic situations when you are
abroad
During the course you will develop the ability to deal with a range of
situations in the language:
 Meeting people
 House and Home
 Travel (public and private transport)
 Leisure
 Daily routines
Each topic studied will help you to increase your fluency and
confidence when using Italian. In addition, you will have the
opportunity to learn more about the way of life in Italy, their systems,
customs and traditions.
