CAREER OPPORTUNITY – GP Exercise Referral Instructors
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team of health and exercise professionals delivering phase 4 cardiac
rehabilitation as part of the Active For Health Project in Rotherham and Fit4Health Programme in Sheffield. You will support
cardiac rehabilitation instructors promote and deliver phase IV cardiac rehabilitation and lead maintenance classes in Rotherham to
achieve health benefits of participants in this 3 year research project. GP Referral Classes are available for Sheffield, Places for
People Venues as part of Fit4Health.
The post is subject to a full CRB disclosure.
Skills:
1. Have experience in delivering to health and fitness clients
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to prepare and check materials that are appropriate to the target
audience
3. Excellent interpersonal skills in order to forge trusting relationships with adults
4. Excellent organisational skills and able to assess and manage risk
5. Must have anempathetic nature and be enthusiastic
6. Minimum of GP Exercise Referral Instructor qualification
