Asset Administration is the art and science of helping
project owners to make the right decisions to optimize
the lifecycle performance and profitability of a project.
EDF Renewable Services Asset Administration Group
recognizes the management of physical assets is key
to long-term operational performance and profitability.
As an owner’s representative, we provide oversight of
wind and solar projects by managing the projects and
their commercial agreements to optimize returns over
a project’s lifecycle.
EDF Renewable Services is the largest North American
provider of third-party O&M Services. As the trust­ed leader
in O&M, we’re expanding our offerings to include Asset
Administration. This new offering is a natural evolution of
our service offerings and leverages our 25 years of Asset
Administration experience on 2,000+ MW into added
solutions for project owners.

PROJECT COMPLIANCE
• Manage project compliance with all major project documents
- PPA
- Interconnection

MONITORING
• 24/7/365 plant monitoring from state-of-the-art Operations Control Center
• Coordinate 3rd party data storage
• Automated SCADA alarms and logging
• Call outs of technicians or emergency services

ADMINISTRATION
• Advise, support, and execute on owners’ behalf day to day
dealings with:
- Landowners
- Financing parties
- Government authorities
- Equipment vendors & service providers
• Monitor and facilitate the maintainenance of required
insurance coverage
• Manage project/portfolio level insurance claims
• Submission of needed documentation to ensure incentive
payments (renewable energy credits, tax benefits, etc…)
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
• Maintain basic project cash flows tracking
• Standard invoicing to off taker(s)
• Facilitate payment of project expenses
• Monitor and facilitate the maintaining of all needed credit support documentation
CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT
• Coordinate with O&M contractor to ensure optimal project performance
• Support O&M contractor with component warranty claims
• Coordinate with specialty 3rd party contractors as needed
to supplement O&M contractor’s services
DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
• Maintain copies of all formal project specific documents
on an agreed upon 3rd party system
• Maintain updates/amendments/bulletins etc. relating to project documents on an agreed upon 3rd party system
• Maintain copies of project logs, receipts, 3rd party software escrows, subcontractor information, etc. on an agreed upon 3rd party system
• Manage 3rd party document requests
REPORTING
• Monthly project/portfolio performance reports and
budget reviews • Owner notification of major events (changes in law,
force majeure, legal action, etc, ) relevant to the optimal performance of the project/portfolio

This document is intended to be a summary of the major scope categories
and services of the EDF RS Asset Administration offering. Individual scopes
will vary depending on the needs & requirements of the owner and the
project/portfolio. To ensure clear lines of responsibility and expectations
EDF RS and the owner will agree upon and create a custom Asset Administration Procedures Manual that will outline all of the day to day operational
requirements of the plant/portfolio as defined by the governing project
documents (PPA, interconnection, leases, and financing documents).
