Adult Education Center Pasco Hernando Offices A Note from the Director: Our center has grown in staff, adding three positions to our team in the past 6 months. Nicole Baum is our new Academic Advisor and has office hours at our New Port Richey office at PHSC. Nicole has two degrees from Saint Leo University and has worked with the University for over six years. Ebony Perez is our new full-time faculty member in Social Work and teaching primarily through our Spring Hill and New Port Richey locations. Rick Singer joins our department as a visiting faculty member in Criminal Justice. He has taught as an adjunct for the Adult Education Center, University Campus and other Continuing Education Centers for more than 10 years. Rick has office hours as our University Campus. This policy takes effect immediately. 1 Want to Participate in the Commencement Ceremony? . Fill out BOTH electronic forms. You must have completed your program requirements or only have 6 credits left to complete at the end of Spring 2, 2016 in order to qualify to participate. Commencement Ceremony - If you plan on participating in our 2016 commencement ceremony, you must submit a graduation Commencement Application by November 1, 2015. Log into the SLU Portal and look under Online Services > eForm Click on eForm and look for the Document Library > Student Documents Click on Commencement Application and complete the form. Degree Conferral – You must complete an electronic Application for Degree Conferral which is available through eLion. It can be found under ELION for Students/Academic Profile. Once you have completed your requirements, degrees are conferred on a daily basis. Actual diplomas take up to 2-3 weeks to be mailed. You will have to submit your application for Degree Conferral and pay the graduation fee through the eLion Degree conferral system before April of 2016 to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. The graduation fee is charged whether you choose to participate in the graduation ceremony or not. It will be charged when you fill out the Degree Conferral application. NOTE – Graduation is held yearly at Saint Leo University for those earning bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees. Please carefully review the awarding criteria for each scholarship to determine eligibility. Students interested in applying will need to use their Saint Leo portal username and password. This means the latest version of the full Office productivity suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and more available for offline and online use to best prepare you for class. As long as you’re a student here and the program continues, you’ll be able to use this software for free. Install on up to 5 compatible PCs and Macs, plus 5 tablets (including iPad!)
