HARVEST HEALTHY HABITS
The Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health (IFNH), located on the Cook Campus, is a brand-new, state of the art, nearly-80,000
square foot building with a three-story living wall. Luckily for all us health-minded students out there, the IFNH has opened
Rutgers Dining Services newest venue, Harvest, to the public. Saying that the members of the RU Healthy Dining Team have
taken a liking to Harvest would be an understatement! Here are some of the team’s favorite dishes.
BREAKFAST HARVEST
SALAD AND GRAIN BAR
VEGETARIAN HARVEST
MEGAN’S MEAL
SOFIA ’S SELECTION
BECCA ’S BOUNTY
“For vegetarians, Harvest offers great
meatless dishes, like an amazing tofu
creation cooked to crispy perfection and
drizzled in a sweet and savory sauce. This
dish pairs well with the daily greens.”
“I like to start my day with the quinoa
“The brown rice salad with avocado and
pancakes topped with fresh fruit
grapefruit is to die for! It is just one of the
compote. The pancakes are made fresh to delicious grain salads Harvest offers each
order and served with a side of seasonal
day.
fruit or crispy turkey bacon.”
PIZZETTES
HARVEST ENTREES
CARLY’ S CHOICE
“The pizzettes from Harvest are my
favorite. Besides the creative and fresh
toppings, such as asparagus and goat
cheese, the pizzettes are a lighter, tastier
and whole grain alternative to your
average pizza.”
TAYLOR’ S TABLE
“Harvest never fails to provide a healthy,
delicious meal, despite my food
intolerances! My favorite entrée has been
the dairy-free, gluten-free butternut
squash risotto served with a side of mixed
grilled veggies.”
LIQUID HARVEST
MEET THE CHEFS AT HARVEST
FLAT IRON GRILL
CORTNEY’S CUP
“If you’re looking for a quick energy
boost, give the freshly made smoothies a
try. My favorite is the Green Gingersnap.
Don’t let the color scare you, the flavor
combination tastes amazing.”
CHEF IAN KEITH
Graduate of the Culinary Institute of
America in NY and recipient of multiple
prestigious culinary awards
CHEF RACHEL REUBEN

BILL’S BOWL
“I’m stoked when I can select a rainbow of
veggies from the Mongolian grill station
and have them grilled with my choice of
protein and flavor profile. Harvest is
simply a nutrition-geek’s dream come
true”
