Song, Rap, or Poem
Objective: Students will work in a group or individually to create lyrics to a song, rap or
poem that will help their audience to better understand the 11 Body Systems and their
functions. Students will perform their song, rap, or poem live or may choose to play a
pre-recorded performance on the day of the presentations.

Your lyrics must have all 11 body systems and their
functions embedded within the song, rap, or poem.
Your song, rap, or poem must be educational.
Your lyrics must be a minimum of ONE page length and
all team member names must appear on the printed
copy that is turned in on the day of the performance.

Performance
20 total pts
Your performance must be a minimum of 2 minutes in
length & should not exceed the 5 min. time limit.
All team members must participate in the performance.
The use of music/technology. Please be sure to cite
your source if using back up music or music you did not
create.
