arvey is the firm’s chief financial
officer. He serves on the
Management Committee, Firmwide
Risk Committee, Steering Committee on
Regulatory Reform, Finance Committee,
Firmwide Capital Committee and Principal
Investment Committee.
Prior to assuming his current role,
Harvey was global co-head of the Securities
Division from February 2008 to January
2013. From 2007 to February 2008, he was
global head of Securities Division Sales,
from November 2005 to 2007 he was head
of North America Sales and from June 2004
to November 2005 he was co-head of the
Americas Financing Group within
Investment Banking. Harvey joined
Goldman Sachs as a vice president in 1997
from Citibank and was named managing
director in 1999 and partner in 2002.
Harvey earned an MBA from Columbia
University in 1996 and a BA from Rutgers
University in 1987.
