offer free internet in all libraries with free Wi-Fi in some and wished to
continue to offer the latest and best facilities available.

Xentrall Shared Services working on behalf of Stockton-On-Tees Borough
Council chose EnvisionWare’s PC Reservation System. This is proven in
this environment and installed in over 10,000 libraries throughout the world.

Results
Interleaf worked closely with Xentrall
Shared Services. Xentrall is a public
sector partnership between
neighbouring Borough Councils,
Stockton-On-Tees and Darlington. It
was formed to deliver cost savings
on key back office transactional
services for both councils.
Stockton Central Library’s PC booking system was implemented by
Interleaf Technology who integrated the solution with the libraries’ VDI
technology. The booking systems in the remaining 11 libraries
throughout the borough were installed by Xentrall.
Customers or library staff now simply book the internet session and
are validated in real time against the Talis Library Management
System. Interleaf Technology continues to provide ongoing support for
Stockton-On-Tees Libraries PC Reservation system.
