Amendment Project
Consider the 27 amendments that have been added to the Constitution.
Decide which ten amendments you believe are the most important.
Create an illustrated timeline of those ten amendments. Timeline should be
approximately 8.5” x 33”. Include:

Number of each amendment

Description of each amendment

An image that represents each amendment

Date passed
Write a 1-2 page essay, typed, that explains why you chose three amendments of the top
ten as the most important. Your essay must include:
 An introduction that introduces the three amendments you will be writing
about.
 Three paragraphs, one for each amendment, that include your argument
for why that amendment is important
 A conclusion that summarizes the impact of these amendments on the
United States.
