2. CPA, oral: 25%
3. CPA, written: 25%
TIPS FOR LISTENING/READING
 Read the instructions. Read the instructions. Read the instructions.
 Focus on the words that are familiar to you (you don’t need to
understand every word you read/hear to answer the questions!)
 Look at the picture or graph, if there is one
TIPS FOR CPA, WRITTEN
 You will receive a set of instructions to guide you
 Read the instructions. Read the instructions. Read the instructions.
 Write only in Spanish. If you can’t write an idea in Spanish using the
vocabulary we studied, write a different idea!
 Proofread your composition (careful with spellings and adjectives)
TIPS FOR CPA, ORAL
 You will have a moment to prepare, and then have a short
conversation in Spanish with Dr. Gallardo
 Speak only in Spanish, and listen to what the other person says!
 PRACTICE YOUR WRITING BY WRITING: Come up with short sentences
off the top of your head and write them on a blank sheet of paper. Check
that you spelled everything correctly. The more you do this, the better.
 Practice your speaking by speaking: Come up with short sentences and
actually say them out loud. Even if you know everything “in your head,” say
it out loud when you study.
 For the midterm you will use the material we practiced in class (in the
games and activities): Have fun with it! 
