Aladdin and the Magic Pickle Jar Writing Choices:
Choose one of the following. Use a piece of handwriting
paper.
1) The famous original story of Aladdin features a genie and
a magic lamp. This version features a pixie and a magic
pickle jar. Make up your own character. It could be a crab
in the magic cookie jar, for example. Write a story about
how the character grants three wishes. You draw a picture
to go along with your story. Have fun and do your best!
2)In this story, Aladdin has to choose his words very
carefully. Think of a wish you would like. Create a wish
contract. A wish for a toy store, for example, might include
the following in the Wish Contract: “This has to be a large,
real store. Real people have to work in it. It has to be full
of real toys.” Write down your instructions so that you are
sure to be granted your wishes. You may draw a picture to
go along with your Wish Contract. Have fun and do your
best!
