If computer has previous version of software, uninstall, then reinstall newest version After application installs and opens, Select Open Database from CD Browse to D:lifetouch data A listing of student pictures and other info will appear. (If there are pictures of staff, they will appear with barcode NOID0001 (or similar) Select All, then click green arrow to move them to the right frame Run the Export Wizard (top of window) Select export parameters a. Select first choice (Admin software) b. Select Follett Destiny Library Manager c. Browse to create file on Desktop and make a new folder (no need to name folder but name file something you will remember) d. Program will run and create a zip folder within New Folder e. Close the window Open Destiny with school admin rights Go to Back Office/Upload Pictures Browse to locate the zip file and Open Look in Job Manager to see when import completed View to find any import issues with students – can use LifeTouch application to locate students Verify a few student images Go back to desktop to extract image files to the desktop under a new filename Show staff how to manually locate staff pictures to import into Destiny Larry Allen, /Herff-Jones, Victor O’Neill 1. Open CD and locate picture folder (jpegs)– drag to desktop to copy it 2. On the CD, locate file named pref_jpeg , open it and select Save As and rename it to say idlink.txt into the picture folder on the desktop. Be sure you are not adding a second .txt to the file name 3. From the desktop, Right click on the jpegs folder and zip the folder. (right click/Send To/Compressed (zipped) folder) 4. Open Destiny with admin rights 5. Go to Back Office/Upload Pictures 6. Browse to locate the jpegs zip file and Open 7. Will show in Job Manager and refresh to see when import completed 8. Check a student picture for accuracy 9. Can manually locate faculty/staff in Destiny and upload pictures using the original jpegspicture folder on the desktop
