Example of reference provided for a Student Ambassador
Date
Dear Sir/Madam
Reference for
??? has worked for me as an Outreach Ambassador from October 20XX and as a Senior Student Ambassador from
October 20XX to the current date. Please see attachments for a general outline of both roles.
??? has always been an extremely conscientious, cheerful, trustworthy and hard-working member of our team of
ambassadors. He has worked regularly for our team throughout the academic year and has always been punctual
and reliable.
??? has demonstrated excellent communication skills when working with a wide variety of people, including
teenagers, other university students, members of clerical staff and academics within this role and has been
universally liked and respected. He has always been willing to get stuck into any job that he has been asked to
carry out, and always works conscientiously and enthusiastically. He is a superb team member, engaging with
others and taking on the role of team leader when required. He can also be relied on to work on his initiative and
take responsibility for handling any situations as they arise.
In order to take on the role of Outreach Ambassador, ??? completed a CRB check and attended training on
various areas, including Child Protection and Legal Issues, Disability Awareness, Communication Skills,
Stereotypes and Values and many more.
I would highly recommend ??? for any role as he is an excellent employee – reliable, honest, mature, cheerful
and hard-working: he would be an asset to any workplace.
Please do not hesitate to get in contact if you would like further information.
Yours faithfully
