David Near is President of The Near Consulting Group, LLC. The Near Consulting
Group (NGC) was founded in 2005 to provide general business and human resources
consulting services to a variety of organizations with a focus on nonprofits. More

David Near retired from The Dow Chemical Company after 27 years in 2005 as Global
Portfolio Management Director for the Human Resources Department. During his career
at Dow David held a variety of global research and business management positions in
North America and Europe. He is recognized for his skills in strategy development,
qualitative research, global work process development & implementation, organizational
design & effectiveness, product & technology development, intellectual capital
management, and human capital valuation & management. David is a graduate of
Colorado State University and the University of Michigan Business School (Executive
Education Program).
